In this piece I wanted to capture the fluid grace of a pod of sperm whales as they glide through the water, always keeping close contact with one another. In the pod are cows, juveniles, and newborns, as well as one bull who guards them, shown in different poses to illustrate the strange beauty of these extraordinary creatures.
